I love books, and as I am introducing my kids to books, I come across lots of good ones, lots of mediocre ones, and some pretty terrible ones. This page is my attempt to catalogue this adventure.
I would be remiss if I didn't mention that part of my inspiration for this is the Tinybop Loves site. I can only hope to one day have as cool of a catalogue as they do.

The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore by William Joyce

First Read: 2017-05-04
This book is an absolute gem. It's probably one of my favorite kids books I've ever read. Every person has a story, and books capture those stories. The books have legs and fly in this story, which is captivating. The illustrations are beautiful, which is not a surprise coming from William Joyce. This book was my introduction to William Joyce, who I now realize is simply a brilliant children's author, and I look forward to reading his longer science fiction books to my kids when they are older.
